Tornado Drill
This past week we practiced our first Tornado Drill of the school year. Ms. Susan talked to our preschoolers about what it would look like if we needed to go somewhere to be safe from a storm.
Horses make a visit to Preschool
WE ARE READING THE STORY, “THE VERY BUSY SPIDER”. TODAY WE READ THAT A HORSE TRIED TO TALK TO THE SPIDER BUT WOULDN’T RESPOND TO THE HORSE. SO WE GOT TO MEET SOME HORSES! TWO WE’RE MINIATURE HORSES AND THE KIDS COULD ASK TO SIT ON THEM. WE LEARNED HOW TO ASK NICELY, WHAT HORSES EAT, DRINK, AND FEEL LIKE. WE DECIDED THEY DON’T FEEL SILKY LIKE OUR VOCAB WORD BUT THEY STILL FEEL SOFT!
Science Fun
Working on fine motor by making colorful “rain” by dropping colored water onto makeshift clouds (shaving cream) and then watching as it fell down into the water. We also learned if we mix some colors it will make another, such as purple or orange!
