No school for grades 7-12 on Friday, January 14, 2022

Student and parents,

Due to excessive numbers of students absent due to a variety of illnesses, Adams Central High School will be closed Friday, Jan. 14. This impacts grades 7-12 only. The student illnesses reported include stomach flu, respiratory illnesses and less than 10 confirmed cases of COVID.

The Early Childhood Center and Adams Central Elementary grades K-6 will be in school as scheduled Friday.

At this point, all athletics and activities will continue, unless the individual activity is missing enough students to take part. Individual team and activity announcements will be made if needed.

The district plans to have all buildings in session on Monday, Jan. 17, and will continue to reassess the situation and monitor the number of students absent due to illnesses.

Parents can stay informed about the district via the website or district app.
