Welcome to Adams Central Public Schools
Adams Central has a long and distinguished history of service to children and families. We have a dedicated and caring staff whose main concern is for the safety, welfare, and education of the children we serve. We are proud of our students. They continue to achieve at high levels and make significant contributions to our community. Just as important as academic excellence, a heavy emphasis is placed on civility, citizenship, and character development.
The Board of Education is committed to excellence. It is our intent to deliver the very best instructional program possible to our students. Our curriculum is extensive, including college-credit classes. Students enjoy a wide selection of academic, vocational, and extracurricular programs. Counselors are available to guide students through their secondary studies, allowing students to meet state requirements for graduation and pursue their individual personal interests. Students continuously meet or exceed state standards, consistently score high on ACT tests, and 90% percent of our students pursue postsecondary education.
Thank you for your interest in our schools. This website is designed to help you learn more about Adams Central Schools. Please join us as we work together to create a bright and successful future for all of our students.
— Superintendent Shawn Scott
There are several ways to communicate with me, and I always consider myself accessible to patrons. The quote I keep on my desk reads, "How May I Help You," as I consider it part of my job to be reachable by students, employees, patrons, and parents of the district.
