AC adds Christensen as SLP

Becca Christensen is a new Speech-Language Pathologist for the Adams Central district who looks forward to helping students reach their potential and become good communicators.

A Broken Bow native, Christensen graduated from Hasting College and received her Master's Degree at the University of Nebraska-Kearney. She taught at North Bend Central and Grand Island Public Schools. She still travels from Grand Island, but plans to move to the Hastings area in the next few years. Christensen loves to travel and has visited seven different countries.

Christensen is happy to be working in a district the size of Adams Central because of the camaraderie between staff members and the district-wide support for the students, activities and athletics. Her favorite part of her job is when students have an "aha" moment while working on their communication skills.
